Creating Thankful Space

Thankfulness is a state of being. It grows as you grow in consciousness. As you become closer to God/Divine Source/Great Spirit, thankfulness expands. You come closer to Divine Source by going within and healing feelings, perceptions, assumptions, judgments, and fears that are not aligned with Divine Love. It is doable. Regularly get rid of all these energies you do not want anyway (use Six-Step Spiritual Healing Protocol). Then consciousness expands and thankfulness becomes the natural outcome of carrying less negative, draining energy.

Clearing unwanted energies is an Eternal process. It never stops whether you are in body or not in body. You never reach the finish line. You are never without some way to expand thankfulness, consciousness, peace, love, forgiveness and balance. This journey is for always, for multi-millions of years, beyond anything you can imagine with your mind. Therefore, I find it helpful to feel the love energy we call thankfulness with all that I am experiencing in the present moment.

Living in thankfulness takes practice and dedication. Being thankful is naturally the easiest, when everything is going well. It is hardest when you are in a seemingly undesirable situation that you fear will never come right. Therefore begin right now frequently cultivating thankfulness for your present moments. This can become a mind, heart, and soul practice with enormous benefits!

Over time even tough situations that disrupt your sense of balance and peace, often end up enabling lasting inner peace. If you cast out the feelings and thoughts you have that drain or upset you, you become free of those energies. When this happens enough, you will be able to see a tough situation as an opportunity for more peace. Then even with challenging feelings and situations, you can give thanks knowing you are entering into an opportunity for greater peace and wholeness.

Being thankful is a type of love. Whatever you focus on grows.  If you are constantly looking for the next big moment in your life, focused on what should be, or seeking to escape what is, thankfulness rarely shows up. If you focus on what is and cultivate the awareness of being thankful, that grows. It is actually autocatalytic. Feeling thankful begets more thankful feelings.

Why would you want to do this? Being thankful comes from a loving heart. When you practice thankfulness you are growing your loving heart. The heart needs training like the mind. The heart may have developed in the midst of sorrow, fear, loss, violence, regret, shame, abuse, or danger. If you make conscious decisions to be thankful, you are teaching your heart a different way of being, one that manifests joy, peace, balance, appreciation, and well-being. Focusing on thankfulness grows more positive feelings, which attract more positive energy and people to you. It is like loving your life and yourself into wholeness.

Commit to manifesting a perpetual state of thankfulness. When it is not present, you will begin to notice that something is keeping that natural love energy from flowing. When you are off, down, drained, and unthankful, something inside needs attention. Don’t stuff it and try to ignore it. Also don’t stew about crummy feelings and troubled energy confusing you.  It has come up for a reason.

Take time in Silence and seek the core imbalances that are causing your down, unthankful state of being. Take a guess!  Write down the feelings causing your imbalance. List all that is causing your hosed up love and thankfulness energy. Then use the Six-Step Spiritual Healing Protocol to effectively clear your energy field. Thankfulness naturally flows in and around you when you are steadily clearing blocked, stuck, troubling energy in your field. May thankfulness return to you 1000 fold!

The Other

My heart aches and hurts
The hatred of the Other is just everywhere
In hearts, in words, in news, across the globe
In the fabric of the past
In the trajectory of the future

I so need a respite from hatred of the Other
From the darkness of the fear around me
From the active hatred of those who are seemingly different
From the unexamined actions of the fearful
From the harmful experiences of one against another

We are from the same cloth, the same Light, the same Oneness
But bitter darkness comes from within you
It is externally aimed but inwardly cultivated
The we-ness and the they-ness continually fed
A well worn path of judgement, costing all in body

Seek within, seek the Light, seek Forgiveness
Seek to clear the anger, the fear, and the pride
Consuming you and all you come into contact with
This is not your true self
Only a step along your eternal path

This too shall pass if you make it so
Profoundly enter Silence, be Kindness, hold Peace
These paths lead to healing
Lead to release from fear and terror
Lead to another way to move forward

There is really, truly, no Other
Their seeming presence is for our learning
We get to learn these lessons
Lifetime after lifetime
Varied circumstances, same lessons

We come here to heal the we-ness, they-ness
Take this up with yourself
Stop the madness around you
Seek Peace and Forgiveness
Begin to love yourself within and loving the Other will follow

You Are Not the Fears You Have

When you are being run by fears such as not having enough money, not feeling lovable, not feeling you will ever have the energy you desire, or not feeling you are making a difference, these feelings are not you. They are simply fears crossing your path that you have given your energy to.  Fears arise and because you do not really feel connected with Divine Source, therefore, you give your energy to these fears. You grow your fears, in other words.  The fundamental fear is that you are not loved. This fuels all the other fears. The fear you are not loved manifests in a thousand ways to get you to look at those fears and discard them. This is essentially your eternal job. You are here to face and dismantle all the fears you carry. You do not have to do this alone. There is all the help you need.

However, there are many pitfalls along the way. You may get in a loop of blaming others for not loving you enough. You may get into the habit of judging self or others harshly to keep you from looking at your own fears. You may get in a loop of hiding from the fears you are carrying and they will manifest as your being snippy, angry, haughty, judging, unkind, dismissive, unforgiving, unhappy, depressed, or selfish.  Still, though, these behaviors are not you either. They are the result of unexamined fears running you. Those undesirable behaviors are the result of you building up fears within, without examining them.

One of the toughest realizations is that you may be totally wrong about yourself and who your are. To find yourself fully, you need to go inside and sit with Divine Source/God/the Great Spirit. Here you will find Truth, Love, Forgiveness and Acceptance. Truly, this awaits each of you, every minute of every day. However, your fears of being less that you would hope, more broken than you fear, or much darker than you feel you can address, may keep you from going inside to Silence.

The big secret about going inside to the quiet is that you are much more loving, capable, caring, forgiving, than you are presently experiencing. Regardless of your past, regardless of your bad behaviors, when you do not consciously connect with Divine Oneness you will give your power to the fears and their resulting negative behaviors. This is the surprise that comes with being in Silence. You are led as to how to dismantle all your fears and how to feel the love available to you if you stop, breathe, open, and seek connection.

When you begin to do this or return to try again, seek Love. Simply, seek the feeling of being loved. Suspend all the self-perceptions which are in any way negative and imagine Love energy flowing in, around, and through you. You do this enough and you will begin to see the fears you are carrying and can then command them out of your energy field. Begin by seeking Love, the ability to breathe and the experience of releasing your tensions.

Everything that you fear about yourself is untrue! Every fear you have is simply energy that has run amok. You have to name those fears, cast them out of your field and more love, acceptance, kindness, and creativity replaces the fears. This is the secret to why so many people enter into Silence willingly. They have had the experience of feeling Love, Forgiveness, Grace, and Peace. You have to take the first step to look at the fears you have in a conscious Sacred Space. They are not you. They are energy that is running you.

Enter into Silence and call forth the sense of feeling Love. You can do this lying down, sitting up, walking in the woods or standing looking at beauty.  Keep trying to do this. Practice is required. I tried lots and lots of ways to feel flowing Love. When I began, I took no other agenda into the Silence with me except to feel Love. Try this. The Love available to you is infinite and will lead you to eventually look at your fears. Start with seeking the feeling of Love. You are loved.  The very fact that you are in body, indicates you are loved. You may not feel loved or lovable but with practice you will. All else will follow.

Love Inspired Truth

Listen to Truth. It does not try to appease you or convince you. It simply is. It is created by Divine Oneness, never by mortal humans, because you are most likely still working on imbalances, confusion, and misperceptions.  Truth is beyond human understanding. It sings a song from the heavens, from the voice of All That Is, from the vibrations of Unconditional Love.  It is always attainable though you must have begun your inner journey to Wholeness. You need to begin this inner journey to Wholeness for Truth to be revealed to you.  You have to go within and understand with every part of your being that you are loved and cherished, constantly, thoroughly, and irrevocably by the Divine Love of the Universe.

You are truly loved no matter what has befallen you. Even when attacked, hurt, sick, unable to find the right partner, or unable to find your professional path, you are profoundly loved. You may ask, how can that be? One explanation is that you may be paying a karmic debt during this life. Karmic debts are required of us when we have committed a seemingly unforgivable debt in a previous lifetime. We need to pay for that debt to be free to expand and fully grow in consciousness. Your life may be devoted to paying off that debt or debts so that you can soar. You may not feel loved because there are parts of your life that are very hard and seemingly unfair. However, you are still loved with a fierceness that created your current life precisely for you to be free from past transgressions. This is one type of Truth that  might be revealed to you if you go within, seeking.

Nothing that happens in this world is haphazard.  However, because you may not be fully versed in Divine Truth, you may resort to the belief in haphazard events, fear, or blame to make sense of that which is beyond your senses.  All poverty, hatred, violence, anger, resentment, and illness are humanly created. You create a myriad of imbalances from being separated from Truth. When you go within, you are taught about Love that is all encompassing and all forgiving and you slowly heal from all that separates you from Truth, Peace, and Balance.

Being separate from Truth can also show up in how you feel about yourself. You may feel you have failed in reaching your potential or that you are being punished because of every bad thing that has happened to you. You may blame yourself for being in an unsuccessful relationship. All the while, you have simply forgotten to ask for help, for all things, in all ways, at all times. Consciously seeking in Silence and listening to Truth can heal these inaccurate perceptions of yourself and help receive needed support to see yourself as the person you actually are, loving and evolving.

This world is created in Love, and Truth is intrinsically part of that Love. You stray from that Truth every time you give into fear, anger, blame, depression, gossip, pride, judgment, or shame. These feelings and thoughts separate you from Spirit. When separated from Spirit, your requests for help have no power. If for example you are carrying self-anger and blame, when you call for a shift in your work relationships, this cannot be received. Your self-anger and blame energy block your ability to receive the energy of the request you made. This is because your self-perceptions are not in Truth!!!  You have to come from loving, truthful energy for stuck energy to be transformed. The Truth is, you are a loving person carrying negative self- perceptions which are not the Truth, so this energy has to be transformed  before the healing energies can be received.

Clear all blocked energies that separate you from God’s energy of love, peace, and balance. Then, all subsequent prayers are answered, every single time. You are also then privy to Truth energy that helps form the way you live.

Only Love can fully speak the Truth. For the Universe and all who dwell therein were created in Divine Love and in the image of that magnificent energy.  Anything less than living in accurate Truth falls short of your full potential. You who want to reach your full potential; meditate, spend time in Silence, seek balance, seek kindness to self and forgiveness of others. You could do yourself a great kindness to pursue these ways to reach your full, loving, and powerful Truth.

Where to begin? Use the Spiritual Healing Protocol to free yourself from any type of imbalance which separates you from knowing Divine Source and living in Truth.

Silence is Golden: Meditation 101

Peace, joy and health can only be obtained by entering into one’s Silent self.   However, while trying to get to a state of Silence, we often we have to face issues that are unresolved, problems we are struggling with and feelings we do not want to feel.

Enlightenment by h.koppdelaney

This stops many a person from meditating, being in Silence or lying in shavasana ( corpse pose)  on a yoga mat.  The key here is to stay with the Silence while releasing all connection you have with the issues entering and swirling around your mind. One way to think of this is to allow the ideas,  thoughts and issues that show up to pass across your “mind screen” and out of your focus.  A mantra, a point of vision like a candle or attention to breath can help to bring our focus back to Silence.  A mantra might be,” I am One with All That Is”, or “I am God’s  Beloved Child”. With enough detachment from our mind’s issues, thoughts, problems, and people, one can move past the monkey mind to a place of no thought while in stillness.  This however does not come quickly to some.

When I first began to try to meditate sitting up,  I would sit with my back next to an old black walnut tree.

At the Feet of an Ancient Master by Premasagar

One day when I was wrapped in a sarape, covered with a hat and gloves and determined to “have my own time”, I thought, is this really what I am doing?  By then, the snow was coming down rather steadily but that tree and I had bonded so I sat until I was completely snow covered.  I felt a certain peace in doing that because, I so desperately needed time for Silence, even if it was snowing.  When I could get to that tree, I felt welcomed because of having put all else aside to go into Silence.  I did not really know what I was doing but I knew I had to show up and be still and let the Silence guide me into greater Peace.  Bit by bit, step by step I was led into the Silence until that state increasingly stayed with me through the day, through my work, through my creating and through my pain.

Here is what I have learned along the way.  We can’t be in stillness and Silence if we don’t show up.  The first step in meditating is to show up with the intention for Silence and stillness. Another step is to select a place dedicated to enter into Silence.  It may be in a corner of a room or it may be a favorite chair or a special tree or garden.  The place has to be a haven for the time you intend to meditate.  The major challenge though is to continue to come to Silence,  even when your last experience was of the mind churning with thoughts.

One can think of this process as training the mind, like one would train a dog to obey.  For most non-meditators, the mind runs willy-nilly all over the place, most of the time. As you begin to sit in the quiet, with the intention to connect to the Greater Whole, the Oneness, you have to let the thoughts pass through without picking any of them up and without giving any of them attention. In the beginning this may be all you do for months.  Then one day, you will come out of mediation and realize that you have “lost time” when you were not conscious of sitting in the Silence.  This is the golden feeling of peace and balance.  As we begin to have a glimpse of this, there is nothing in the entire universe that can touch us this way.  We have created the time and space for peace in our lives.

Collective meditation by Premasagar

Meditating in a group is easier for most people than meditating alone.  This is because as we gather in a group,  there is more energy focused on meditation making it easier to enter into that energy flow.  However, you can simulate this by setting the intention to meditate with those of the Highest Light around the globe who are meditating at the same time you are.  You will be connected energetically with those meditators and it is often easier to get into the flow than trying to meditate alone.

In our lives we get very attached to what is going on with our friends, family, job and affairs. We have opinions, ideas, concerns, conflicts, solutions running around in our heads constantly.  Meditation is a time to check out of the dailyness of our lives and seek Peace for a few moments while remaining conscious of being awake.  It is like taking an energy nap to renew yourself.  However, unlike sleep, meditation trains the mind to be still in the midst of chaos,  and this expands into the very fabric of our lives. Over time, as we begin to be able to detach from our mind’s daily drama while in meditation, we increasingly do detach from the drama  in our daily lives as well. When our mind gets used through Silence and stillness to our letting thoughts and feelings pass us by, we learn to increasingly remain non-attached to all outcomes in our lives as well.  This enables us to increasingly hold the space for the Highest Benevolent Outcome for everything we are involved in all areas of our lives.

In Ray’s efforts to learn to meditate he kept coming up against his feelings about work which were not positive. This would throw him out of a peaceful state, again and again. He became very frustrated with his efforts to meditate. When this happens, we are being led to attend to the negative feelings that are coming up.  It is not that we are “failing”  in our efforts to meditate, it is that we need to attend to these negative feelings.   Here are some ways to do this:

  • 1. Out loud, say “I release all these negative thoughts and feelings I am carrying about work, totally and completely”.
  • 2. In a journal, write out all the negative thoughts and feelings you have about work and the costs and benefits to you of holding onto these.  Decide which thoughts and feelings you are going to keep, which ones you are going to let go of and what further actions you are going to take.
  • 3. While you are coming out of your state of Silence and stillness, call forth you sacred inner flame and command it out loud to consume all your blocked emotional, mental, thermal( self-protective) and spiritual energy from their originating sources which are manifesting as these thoughts and feeling about work in the present.  All that can leave you energy field today will go.
Buddha is a Bridge by h. koppdelaney

There is nothing in the world like Silence for healing and for guiding us to balance.  Our thoughts and feelings create the imbalances and the balances in our lives. The more we are in Silence and stillness, and attend to the imbalances surfacing there, the more balance we will manifest in our lives.  Silence trumps everything we think we are for a glimpse of the peace and stillness within, which is who we truly are.
