The Other

My heart aches and hurts
The hatred of the Other is just everywhere
In hearts, in words, in news, across the globe
In the fabric of the past
In the trajectory of the future

I so need a respite from hatred of the Other
From the darkness of the fear around me
From the active hatred of those who are seemingly different
From the unexamined actions of the fearful
From the harmful experiences of one against another

We are from the same cloth, the same Light, the same Oneness
But bitter darkness comes from within you
It is externally aimed but inwardly cultivated
The we-ness and the they-ness continually fed
A well worn path of judgement, costing all in body

Seek within, seek the Light, seek Forgiveness
Seek to clear the anger, the fear, and the pride
Consuming you and all you come into contact with
This is not your true self
Only a step along your eternal path

This too shall pass if you make it so
Profoundly enter Silence, be Kindness, hold Peace
These paths lead to healing
Lead to release from fear and terror
Lead to another way to move forward

There is really, truly, no Other
Their seeming presence is for our learning
We get to learn these lessons
Lifetime after lifetime
Varied circumstances, same lessons

We come here to heal the we-ness, they-ness
Take this up with yourself
Stop the madness around you
Seek Peace and Forgiveness
Begin to love yourself within and loving the Other will follow

Experiencing God From Within

“God is in the heart and soul of every being. And when you open within yourself the secret temple in your heart, then with the all-knowing intuition of the soul you shall read the book of life.” Paramahansa Yogananda (1)

What does this mean? You have to go within to fully actualize who you are. You are vastly more than the localized body and life you live day to day. You are connected to the non-local energy of All That Is, all the time, whether you know it or not. If you want to fully reap those benefits, you have to go to Silence within and listen to the still small voice of God which is delivered through the intuition of your soul, your eternal self.

Yogananda continues, “Then and only then will you contact the living God. Without this feeling in your heart, there will be no answer to your prayers. You may attract what your positive actions and good karma permit you to have; but to receive a conscious response from God, you must first attain Divine attunement with God.” (2)

Divine attunement with God refers to actively going into Silence with the express purpose of making conscious contact with the energy of God/Divine Source. As you discover imbalances within, you clear them and come into greater attunement with Divine Source. You have to want to have a personal  exchange with Divine Source to have that manifest. Attunement means coming into balance, into the same frequency as God. This only happens in the quiet conscious seeking of Divine Source.

You may be afraid of what you will feel or be told about your faults if you expand your personal relationship with the living God. The truth is that you are so loved, way beyond the ability of your imagination to comprehend this. You are first and foremost here to develop a two-way relationship with All That Is. You are here to heal that which is not who you truly are; your fears, your anger, your unforgiveness, and your self-criticism.

You are here to seek peace and joy within. You can’t do this anywhere else. You can’t do this when you leave your body or when you take a different form from your human body. You have to find this path to the living God while in a human body. That is the reason you are in body. When you find this path to God, you can create the life, relationships, peace, and loving wholeness you are seeking. You get as many chances as you need to do this.

Begin now and expand the time you currently allot to experiencing connection with God. Every moment you allot to connect with Divine Source comes back to you one hundredfold. (Mark 10:30, King James Version)

Conscious Seeking of God

1. Find a place where you will not be disturbed

2. Open Sacred Space (even if you are unsure about what that fully means just yet)

3. State your intention for being with Divine Source/God/All That Is/The Oneness

4. State your hesitations, your concerns, your troubles, your hopes

5. Be quiet, listen and be present

6. Give thanks silently or through writing to All That Is about what you are learning

7.  Return frequently to experience clearer direction and connection with the energy of God, that energy within you and surrounding you throughout the Universe

Remember you are already hard-wired to Divine Source! You are simply amplifying that connection. There is no one right way to do this. There is only the way you learn to make space in your life for a living connection with God.

Forgiveness is Profound Love

I have been watching Kurt Seyit and Sura, a Turkish/Russian love story beginning in Russia during the Russian revolution and moving to Istanbul. It is magnificent and heartbreaking based on a true story. I have been wondering why I have been so engaged with this series.  In silence today, I realized that it is because the main characters get caught up in their inability to forgive themselves and each other. This is the tragedy of their lives. There is enough self-recrimination and numerous missed opportunities to set down the past that literally wrings their souls and apparently mine as well. I found myself literally yelling at the television with total frustration at both the main characters. They simply had to forgive themselves and each other and move on, as deep hopeful love awaited them.

Forgiveness is profound love. If you do not forgive yourself, you cannot forgive or truly love others. You can play at this forgiveness for as long as it takes but unattended forgiveness remains a thorn in your soul. Where are you carrying unforgiveness? Do not let it remain and fester. It has the power to completely destroy your sense of peace and your ability to truly love others. It has the power to make you feel vulnerable and unsafe. You may feel that if you move on in your outer life that the old unforgiveness will disappear. This is not the way it works. You have to name the unforgiveness you still carry towards yourself and towards others before you can truly command it out of your energy field. You can be free of old unforgiveness but you must make that happen.

Most people have no idea that unforgiveness literally sets up house in your body. It affects your energy level, your immune system, your resilience, your overall health, your self perceptions, and your total well being. It is a powerful negative presence within. There is a type of blocked energy that I call spell energy that can remain in one’s soul for lifetimes.  Spell energy refers to energy that has been in your field for a spell of time in the past and though the circumstances around that energy may have changed, it remains energetically present in your energy field though perhaps not in your present awareness. Seek this unforgiveness out wherever it resides.

One more confounding truth is that unforgiveness can reside at the unconscious and supra-conscious (soul) levels for lifetimes. Therefore, if you do begin to clear for unforgiveness, use the Six-Step Spiritual Healing Protocol that will prompt you to call for healing at all levels of consciousness and through all lifetimes. One of the major reasons you get pricked again and again with unforgiveness is that you need to clear this for once and for all in your energy field to be free of attracting it again to yourself.  If you need to forgive yourself or another, your soul will place you in repeated situations where unforgiveness unfolds until you get that you have to heal this within yourself.

You are on a journey to peace whether you accept this or not. That is basically what we are doing here, trying to become more peaceful inside. Holding onto unforgiveness is not peaceful. It needs to go. Command all unforgiveness of self out of your field if you have the slightest hint of its presence within. If you suspect you carry this and do not know what it is about, enter into Silence and ask to be shown or guided to the unforgiveness you still carry.

I had some unresolved issues with a brother for years. I did not know it was unforgiveness. I asked about the imbalance in our relationship and was shown some deeply unkind things I had done to him as a child, totally forgotten by me. Those mean acts and their consequences were still within me and I had not forgiven myself for that treatment of my brother. When I did finally do the forgiveness work for me, I saw it expand to forgive his actions towards me, as well. Our relationship in present day totally changed. This journey awaits all of us but the seeking has to begin with you.

When you do decide to check in on unforgiveness, and figure out where that energy might be, use the Six-Step Spiritual Healing Protocol to help you include all the various strands that might accompany that unforgiveness for you. The Force is with you but you have to actualize it in your life for it to flourish.

WORKING OUT with DIVINE PRESENCE

When we are on a conscious spiritual journey, sooner or later we spend time in Silence. But this is just the beginning of our potential journey.

In search of peace by Bindaas Madhavi

After Silence, we may need to spend time on imbalances in our field.  This can happen when our “quiet time” results in tough, yucky stuff appearing on the scene.   Thoughts and feelings which are out of balance, unpleasant, heavy or unprocessed do frequently show up.  Unsettling issues are a part of our dialogue with the Greater Whole.

This is the Divine Presence talking with us about what we need to focus on  to remain in balance. Unsettling feelings are not the result of being in Silence. They are the result of our seeking inner peace! When we go into Silence we are seeking peace, balance, wholeness and centeredness.  If we have unresolved issues with a co-worker, a spouse or a friend, we are likely to have them pop up after a period of sitting in Silence.  In fact, many people never go into the Silence for this very reason.  They are afraid that issues they do not want to look at will show up.

Guess what?  Unpleasant issues, thoughts and feelings are ALREADY in our energy field, draining us of our Light and life force energy!  They are already causing imbalance.  Just because we are not thinking about them, does not mean they go away.  In fact, because we are trying to “resist” them, they are even more demanding of our attention. The quickest way to resolve any unpleasant issue is to work in sacred space with our unresolved thoughts and feelings which are causing us stress or anger.

Anyone want to join me at the beach for a good conversation? by Stuck in Customs

It is easy to say well “she should do this” or “he would be a whole lot happier if …”. However this will never bring resolution to an imbalance affecting us.  These responses are actually a  form of gossip and can perpetuate and expand the imbalance.  As long as we focus on what others could or should be doing, we miss the lesson for ourselves.  We are the ones who  have to take the steps to re-establish inner peace for ourselves. Then others sense a shift in us and they are also affected by our coming into greater balance.

Coming into balance and inner peace is our part of the partnership with All That Is.  No one else can do this work for us. The more we engage in this self-work,  the more expansive our inner peace becomes. It begins to permeate our entire being and all our affairs for the positive.  If this is hopeful or of interest to you,  keep seeking and you will find exactly what you are meant to discover.  There are infinite ways to undertake a work out process from Silence to release.   Here is one you might try and adapt for you own purposes.

WORKING OUT with DIVINE PRESENCE

When we notice charged feelings and thoughts, causing imbalances, one option is to work them out within a sacred space, through writing to Divine Presence and then letting the imbalances go.  Here are some steps towards that goal.

1.  Open a sacred space in which to work.  This gives us access to Divine wisdom, energy, love and support even when we are writing by ourselves. ( See Note A, for ideas of how to do this.)

2.  The letter

  • Get a journal solely for these writings and date each letter. Sign your name as you would in any letter.
  • Address the letter to Dear God/ Beloved Oneness/ Perfect Love/ Great I AM/  Mohamed/Mary/Jesus/Buddha/Saint Germain/Ascended Masters, etc.
  • Keep this journal in a safe place where you are sure no one will find it or read it.

3.  Explore the specific situation around which you have strong feelings which is causing you imbalance.

  • Begin by writing about your feelings.
  • Write as clearly as possible and with total honesty.
  • Include thoughts as well as feelings about the situation.
  • Write as much as you can until you feel really done.
  • Sign your letter each time you finish for the day

4.  Ask in the Silence what fears and blocked energy you are carrying which are manifesting as imbalanced energy specifically related to you journal topic.

  • Specify the fears and other blocked energy in the journal as notes after your letter.

5.  Go into a space of stillness and call for the sacred flame (within all of us) to consume all blocked energies you have identified which are causing turbulence and imbalance in your energy field from their originating source in this lifetime or from any previous life form you have taken.

  • If forgiveness comes to mind forgive self and others completely.

6.  Give thanks for the healing support and vibration clearing of your energy field.

7. Continue to write about this imbalance as long as it remains in your consciousness following this process each day you write about it.

  • Every time you enter into stillness for clearing, healing energy will consume the low vibrating thoughts and feelings separating you from Peace.
  • You are only responsible for your own feelings. If you change, others involved in your situation will be profoundly affected as well.
  • Take as much time on the issues as you need, knowing that your desire and intention for Inner Peace will be completely supported.

NOTE A:  Here is one way to open sacred space.  ” I call forth my Highest “I AM” Self , the Angelic Host, the Ascended Masters (Jesus/Krishna/Mary/Mohammed/ Moses/St. Ignatius/Buddha ,etc.), the Nature Intelligences, Cosmic Light Beings of the Universe, Divine Ancestors and Divine Physicians  to help me hold this sacred healing space.  I may then say, “Spirit of the Living God/Great Oneness /Divine Wholeness/Holy Spirit, come forth into this space dedicated to wholeness and balance.  My thanks.”
