Those Among Us

Earlier this month, I went to the Dominican Republic.  I thought we were going on vacation and in part, we were. However, there was a broader purpose for my being there.  On the first morning I went into Silence, as is my daily custom, and listened for any people or places which needed prayer.   I was guided to call in healing energy to clear aspects of  the energy of criminal intent, present in the DR.  In listening further,  I was invited to include Haiti in the prayers as well.

Haiti is on the western end of the same island as the Dominican Republic.  We were on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic.  I  did expand the prayer focus to include Haiti. More imbalances were named for healing during the hour and over the next two days. Corruption, domestic violence, ethnic hatred, subjugation energy, financial instability, energy of poverty, violence, abuse, fear of being poor,  and many other areas were identified for re-balancing.  For each imbalance, the century of the original blocked energy was given.  Also the type of blocked energy (emotional, mental, thermal, spiritual or physical) when this imbalance first appeared was specified as well.

This process is the exact same process I have learned to use with individuals when clearing blocked energies showing up as  imbalances in the body. To do this work effectively, we need to really grasp that all imbalances either personal or global are directly due to blocked energy coming from someone or somewhere. When the blocked energies are cleared, the body, the sea, the earth’s crust can heal itself because balance is the natural state of all living entities.

We humans must call Divine Presence into our lives so that this Presence in its myriad of forms is “allowed” to work with us.  Each of us  has the sovereign right to live our lives any way we so choose.  We can ignore or accept anything we want.  We have all the time we need and all the help we need to bring peace and balance to our lives but we have to ask for the help we want and are willing to receive.  As we know, with some of the conditions at the global level, we are running short of time.

When we  call in Divine Presence, what is needed is specifically provided.  After many hundreds of these experiences, I know this will always happen.  The outcome may not happen as I envision it, but the energy is always re-balanced in one way or another.  We are the hands of All That Is upon the Earth and we have the power to call Divine Intervention into lives and aspects of our Earth where imbalances are manifesting.

There seemed to be an urgency in the work I was doing in the DR.  After 3 days of deeply focused healing energy for Haiti and the Dominican Republic, I was invited to extend the boundaries of this work to all of the Caribbean and Central America.  The process started all over again and continued for two more days.  Then I got an email from a spiritual healer and friend who suggested that I listen to the sea creatures around the island.  How she got that message, I am not sure but I have stopped asking the “how” questions with this type of work.

That evening I set up a sacred healing and wisdom “virtual” circle as I do with all healing work.  I invited the sea creatures to join us in spirit and I waited.  I had never worked with sea creatures before and was wondering how I would know if they were there and if I was hearing them.  I settled into a comfortable meditative state.  I listened for a long time and heard nothing but felt the energy of Peace and Harmony, or what I sensed as that.   After about 20-30 minutes, as clear as a bell I heard, “we would like to work with you in this healing”.  I was at once both thrilled and floored!  I knew the voice was not mine because I would have never even thought of such a thing.  I had thought we were simply meditating together.   We then spent a very powerful hour together exchanging energy and it seemed like we were playing in God’s space for lack of a better description.

The next day right before 6 PM,  we felt the earth shake very clearly.  We went outside and it stopped.  My husband checked the seas from the third floor to see if a very low tide was indicating a tsunami.  No low tide was evident.  We surfed the cable TV but did not get news of the earthquake for about two hours.  I was stunned.  In all the time I had spent in prayer, I had never once even considered working with the earth energy of the island.  It had not been given or I had not heard it, and I had not thought of it, either.  Immediately I thought that perhaps I had missed something very important in the prayer dialog of the week.   The devastation in Haiti was enormous and the faces of those affected were heartbreaking.

I went into prayer and I wrote my spiritual colleagues to see what they were picking up about the earthquake and my work in the DR.  I eventually learned that I was not to have focused on the earthquake.  Our work was the clearing of the blocked energy which would affect the rebuilding of that area of the world, now especially with Haiti but more extensively as well.  The prayers were now to be, Come Divine Intervention for the Highest Benevolent Outcome for Haiti and her people on all levels.

Of all the information given though, about the work that was done, that of the sea creatures took my heart.  I was told that they quelled the seas to prevent the tsunamis which were being formed as a result of the violent shaking.  This broke open every boundary I had ever erected between humans and sea creatures.  Of course, they knew there were imbalances of a major order and offered to help. The sea creatures in connection with Divine Grace in many forms,  quelled the imbalances in the water, averting the tsunamis.

Never mind if this does not seem plausible.  It is not plausible with our minds.  This is only plausible and possible to grasp with our hearts.  This experience though has dramatically changed my view of sea creatures and I will never swim in the oceans again without thanking them for their presence here among us and for all the healing energy they are bringing to our world.

Loving Oneself to Wholeness

Whenever Joyce looked in the mirror, she was angry with herself and angry at her body and mad with the world.  She was heavier than she wanted to be and had been that way for over 10 years.  The negative messages were really getting more and more self-punishing.  “You are good for nothing, you are a lazy bum, you are ugly, ugly, ugly, you are a failure”, etc.  Saying that everyday was like taking a poison bath in the morning.  She often had to have three cups of coffee to counteract the lethargy that immediately descended upon her after taking her shower, where she also saw her body in the mirror.  Somewhere in the recesses of her mind she thought that saying such awful things might motivate her to do something about her weight and general health.  These raw self messages though made her feel worse and worse over time.

Bob feels a deep loneliness in his life which descends upon him regularly on Friday evenings.  He has been through lots of relationship but none of them have worked out.

He wants to be in a great relationship where he can love and be loved.  He spends weekends going from bar to bar hoping to meet someone of interest. That is mostly depressing and he often comes home with his insides churning from a sense of failure.  He has lost weight, is increasingly down and has nearly constant indigestion at this point. This malaise is creeping into his weekdays as well.  His thoughts are filled with images of  being alone and of feeling unlovable.   Bob is still trying out new places on the weekends but he is pretty sure he will continue to fail.

One way to work out negative feelings towards ourselves is to do something or find some place where we do feel good about ourselves and hope it transfers to the areas we are beating ourselves up about.   Giving to others is a tried and true way to generate love within.  We can also try new things such as diets, dating services, exercise, reading other’s stories, or travel in the hopes of finding something to blast us out of where we are.  All these steps could bring us some relief.

We probably all know if what we are doing does not work,  we need to try something else.  However, realizing we are doing the same thing over and over again which is not working, is the kicker.   Something about a familiar though unhelpful pattern is better than the unfamiliar, more risky option. Clearly though, repeating what is not working is a road to more pain.

What to do? TAKE THE FEELINGS INTO SILENCE FOR HELP.

Imagine there is a space inside of you where you are truly loved, because there is. Imagine that you can go there whenever you want to, because you can.  Imagine that there is a plan for you full of abundance and joy, because there is.  Simply sit and speak to the Divine Universe, which is all ears.

People ask me what I do in Silence.  I open the space with Divine Energy. I invite all Divine forms of energy to join with me for the purpose of creating more wholeness and peace.  I am still for as long as I can be which varies by the session.  Then I scan my sadness and my fear and I speak of it out loud so that I can call in Divine Help in alleviating the stuckness I feel.  Working with Divine Intervention, Knowing, Love and Presence informs and fuels my intention to feel better about myself. When I release my sadness and my fear, I feel better.  When I call in Divine Intervention right into the source of my sorrow and sense of failure, I experience a shift in the heaviness of carrying those misperceptions I have been feeling.

Each person has internal Light which we were born with.  It may be dimmed though through unloving messages from our growing up, due to traumas in our lives or by unloving messages from our own personal fears.

We have not however come here without a rudder, without direction, or without purpose. The feeling though of sailing without a rudder may well be an indication that we might go within and ask for help.  When we do this, we then have to wait knowing that we have been heard and we will get all the help we need. This help may not be in the form we expect to receive it.  This help may still require us to do something new, to risk.

If you are not sure you “have done enough to get the help you need” here are a few pointers.

1. Do not judge by appearances. If you go into Silence and then immediately go out and do just exactly what you have done before the Silence, like berate yourself, simply stop.  Accept that you are between unhealed and healed, which you are.  Realize that you have moved closer to wholeness, through that realization alone.  Congratulate yourself and let it go.

2. Talk to yourself in a loving  way, such as,  “this thought is not loving and has no power, so I let it go.”  ” I am lovable and capable.” ” I am getting all the help I need even though now, I do feel lousy.”  ” I call into my life good thoughts and feelings about myself and ask for help in guiding me to people and places where this can occur.”

3.  Ask once and give it time to manifest in your life. Do not pick up your issue every day and re-ask for the same help, as if you have not been heard.  If you can’t help doing this, figure out what fear you are still carrying that is fueling this response.  It could be the fear of not deserving any help in this life.  A feeling of fear can completely block your receiving the support you seek.  Go after the fear face on!   Call for the Light to dispel this fear you have. Fear has only the power we, ourselves, give it.

Love is the absolute way to Wholeness. Love and joy are ours when we face our fears and let them go.  Loving oneself  manifests Wholeness.  When we face tough issues alone though, we often can’t access enough Love ourselves to shift our energy. That is one MAJOR reason to work through it with Divine Presence which is within.  There is ALWAYS enough Love to take us to Wholeness if we seek within, in the Silence.

The first step towards Loving oneself to Wholeness is often the hardest.  Ask, seek, sit in stillness, scan for fears and sadness and wait holding the space for shifting energy. Wholeness can come to each and every one of us.   Love is everywhere present, all knowing and all powerful.  Loving oneself is one major highway to Wholeness. Try it and let me know what you find.

Anxiety

Anxiety is the sense of feeling overwhelmed, apprehensive,  out of control and tense regarding something, frequently in the future.  Often our minds rush ahead in time to anticipate all sorts of negative scenarios for us to consider including just how badly we might mess up or fail, and just how awful the consequences might be for us.  Therefore, many folks dealing with anxiety steadfastly avoid situations they know have stimulated past feelings of anxiety.

Aren’t those situation the whole root of the anxiety in the first place?  Actually, no, they are not!   No situation, relationship or person is the actual root of anxiety. Anxiety has core roots in our thoughts, emotions and past feelings associated with a person, situation or type of relationship.  Until we actually go into the midst of the anxiety and try to debunk it, we are likely to remain its victim for a long time.

Terry had anxiety attacks every time she had to face exams.  She could feel the anxiety begin to swell about two or three weeks before exams.

She would eat non-stop, toss and turn at night and she became seriously grouchy with everyone.  It was a pattern she knew well from her childhood which was getting worse and worse in university.  She essentially went into pre-exam jitters twice a year without fail.  By the second semester of her junior year she was literally having panic attacks when she would try to begin studying for exams.  She would be in the library and have to leave because she was breaking out in a sweat and beginning to shake.  She kept hoping this would all go away but the severity of it got her to eventually seek help.

Rajiv experienced anxiety every time he needed to drive to a new place or ended up in an unfamiliar place.  Therefore, he avoided such possibilities at all costs, thinking this would keep him from having these feelings.  He never willingly drove to new places, even with a GPS system for fear of getting lost.  The anxiety though began to seep into all driving situations where he might possibly end up being lost, such as taking friends to unfamiliar places and giving folks lifts home from parties.  When Rajiv did on occasion did get lost, he would have to stop the car to and try to calm his breathing and then frequently he would have trouble driving again.  He also on occasion had begun to shake when he was lost in unfamiliar surroundings.

Both Terry and Rajiv were having anxiety at serious enough levels to disrupt their lives. Both felt they were victims of something they did not understand and that was even more fearful than they could speak about.  Their reactions privately were feelings of being at fault, lacking and broken because of their anxious reactions to normal life experiences.  Recurring anxiety has ramifications far beyond the specific instance of anxious feelings.  The sense of shame often connected with recurring anxiety is one of the biggest costs to a person.

Perhaps more than with other feelings, the sources of anxiety can be elusive.  Unexamined anxiety tends to grow and grow until it can become crippling and completely removed from the original source of the anxiety.  In contrast, we often have some sense of where jealousy, guilt or anger may have begun in our past.  With anxiety,  there is a tendency to strongly avoid all past anxiety producing experiences in an effort to avoid another “anxiety incident”.   As these experiences are linked with past fears of failing, embarrassment or of loss of control, a common strategy is to energetically surround certain experiences with a  “keep out” warning.  Both Terry and Rajiv thought that their individual experiences were causing their anxiety.  However, their experiences were merely the current triggers for the anxiety response.

The core reason behind anxiety comes from blocked energy from our past which is showing up in the present, as anxiety.  The blocked energy can be emotional, mental, thermal (protective “second skin”) energy or spiritual/fear energy.    Any or all of these types of energy can contribute to the manifesting of anxiety in our current lives.  When we unblock the original blocked energy manifesting as anxiety, the anxiety will stop.  What a concept!  Yes, the anxiety can stop even in response to the exact same situations where there has been anxiety in the past.  In my experience, balance is restored much faster when we work in sacred space in partnership with All That Is/God/Divine Goodness/Higher Power.

Here are some concrete steps to come into balance regarding anxiety. Speak each step of this process out loud so that you give it form, substance and therefore power in this dimension.

1.  Open a Sacred Healing space by calling forth your Highest (I AM ) Self and Divine Presence in whatever form you desire ( Angels, Jesus, Mary, Ascended Masters, Divine Cosmic Light Beings,  etc.)

I open a Sacred Healing space with my Highest Self and the energy of the Ascended Masters, Mary and all other forms of the Divine Presence I need for this healing.

2.  Name the specific anxiety you are addressing today.

I experience anxiety whenever I face visiting with my spouse’s family.

3.  State your intention for healing and energy release.

My intention is to release all the original blocked energy I am carrying which is currently manifesting as anxiety when I have to visit my spouse’s family.

4.  Call out the original blocked energy manifesting as anxiety in your life now.  ( Divine Knowing, knows the source of this anxiety already however you must command it out of your energy field to be free of its impact on you.)

a. I command out the original blocked energy from the specific year, month and day of its inception into my energy field which is now manifesting as anxiety when I have to visit my spouse’s family. Take all this old stuck energy from my field completely.

b. I call forth the Eternal Flame within me.   Eternal Flame consume all the core blocked energy from the specific year, month and day of its inception into my field which is now manifesting as anxiety when I have to visit my spouse’s family.

5. Sit in the sacred space for a few minutes until you feel settled.

6. Give thanks for the release of the old stuck energy which has manifest as anxiety.

Thank you so much for the clearing of this old energy.  I welcome continued guidance and support in how to face other areas where I still hold anxiety.  I am very grateful.

You have most probably spent months or years manifesting anxiety. Therefore, you may need to call for the clearing of this energy more than one time.  Further, we need to call for the clearing of blocked energy from each situation where we experience anxiety. The pattern of anxiety may be our response to several different situations but may stem from different origins in our past.  Keep working this material in this way until the anxieties are completely gone.  When you get there, you will experience a new sense of freedom and power.

You are a Being of the Light.  Therefore, you must command the Light into places where you need it.  Write and let us know how you are doing!

Expect the Goodness

Holding the space for Goodness in our lives is a powerful mindset and the expectation of Goodness can permeate all aspects of our lives.

At the same time, fears can play an important role in calling us to seek further, for Peace.

Have you ever found yourself, even when things are really good, waiting for something bad to happen?  Do you prepare for potential tragedy by running things through your mind to see how you might react?  Have you ever been in a relationship and find yourself thinking about how you will feel when it is over, when he/she walks out,  or when you grow apart?  This process of preparing for the worst, just to feel in control and ready for bad things is very likely to have just the opposite effect we are trying to guard against.

My husband used to commute to another state, 2 weeks a month, early in our marriage.  I dutifully made sure to know exactly when my husband was flying.  However, that increasingly meant I was ill at ease for the duration of his  flight, every time he traveled.  I had emotional melt downs if I did not hear from him within a “reasonable” time after the flight.   I would work myself into a tizzy, with pent up worry and frustration and then erupt when he did finally call for “making we worry” .   I carried some deep fear about losing him.  However,  I was thoroughly busy ignoring the real fear with mind preparation drills for the possibility of future tragedy.   At the time, I really thought I was being responsible, in caring so deeply.  Right motivation, wrong execution.

I did not realize what I was doing was feeding my worst fears, those which were truly unspeakable.  I was so conscientiously preparing for the worst, that I was really feeding the beast within me, which I had completely created.   I vividly recall the pit in my stomach, the fear in my mind and the tenseness in my breathing of those times.  I was truly capable of making myself sick with fear and dark imaginings.

One of the worst outcomes of this, was that this fear seeped into all manner of situations.  I would worry about my husband going to the store and being run into.  I would obsess about walking around the block at night by myself.   I would even imagine strangers breaking into my home while I was alone.   Clearly, my mind had run amok. Thankfully, I still had some small perspective on what I was doing to myself.  I did stop watching violence on television as one positive step towards more peace.

One day,  years later, a book came to my rescue which I felt was written specifically for me. It was called Fear No Evil, by Eva Pierrakos.  Talk about direct and to the point!  My number was up.  This book literally fell off a shelf before me in a bookstore even though I had let some of my darker fears subside.  It changed my habit of preparing for darkness and fearing evil, for good.

Those months of commuting would have been so much better if I could have faced my fears and focused on the Goodness we had been graced with.  We were awash in Goodness with good health, good jobs, supportive families, good friends, disposable income, a nice home, etc.   I had regularly strayed into the darkness though and did not have the faintest inkling about trying something else.   The fear of losing the Goodness I had been given was instrumental in my spiritual journey but perhaps you may avoid this particular detour.

What I recall from Fear No Evil is that I learned that fear comes from the part of us that is un-whole and hurting.  Fear shows up when we feel disconnected from Divine Peace.  I learned that what we focus on grows.  All the fears that I felt were from the exact places where I was disconnected from God.  I learned that fear was my own creation and therefore wonder of wonders,  I could let it go.

For all those years, I had thought fear was real.  I felt as though someone had released me to Goodness, to the very real possibility that Goodness attracts goodness.  I learned when bad things happen, the Goodness is still present even when it seems covered by the darkness.  I felt that “Someone” had rattled my cage and helped me remember Goodness.

Step by step I took a look at the real fears behind those manifesting in my life. I was afraid of my husband dying because I myself was afraid of being alone, unloved and bereft.  I was afraid of being attacked and losing my safety because I was afraid of losing the Goodness of my life.  I was so into thinking it was all up to me that God was a way distance second to ME.  These real fears propelled me front and center into dialog with the Divine Presence.  When I realized I had created and grown my own fears, I could let the fears go, and focus on the Goodness of Life.

I now highly recommend the  practice of Expecting Goodness.  Train your thoughts to expect the Goodness, think about it, nurture it, focus on the Goodness you have and see it continuing.  As I slowly learned to do this, Goodness beyond my wildest imaginings showed up.  To date, the Goodness given has always been infinitely better than what I might have envisioned.  It’s a God thing!!

Steps towards Expecting Goodness

1. Name your presenting fears, those showing up in your life and then seek the deeper core fears fueling the feelings and actions in your life.  (I am afraid my spouse and I won’t be able to have children.  Core Fear-  I am afraid I will miss out on one of  Life’s irreplaceable blessings and that my spouse and I will grow apart. )

2. Release the fears you no longer want, to Divine Presence.  We are never alone in facing our fears. ( I release the fear that my spouse and I will suffer and remain sad by missing out on one of Life’s blessings which will cause us to grow apart.)

3. Train your mind to see the goodness in all situations by actually speaking about it out loud to self and others. (My spouse and I will find infinite ways to love in this world, in ways we can equally share. )

4. Expect the Goodness — I  call forth the Goodness of Life into all aspects of my thinking, feeling, acting self.  I expect the Goodness of Life in whatever way it chooses to manifest in my life.

How Does Spiritual Healing Work?

Spiritual healing is the healing of the unseen energy in our energy field.  It is not magic!  We know that we are out of balance if we become angry or afraid about something in our lives.  Anger, fear, shame and guilt each have a unique vibration which is different from the vibrations of joy, laughter, contentment and love.  When we carry anger in our energy field regardless of its origin, the vibration of anger permeates our body.  That vibration leaves our body when we reach resolution regarding the anger.  Or, the anger vibration may remain in our energy field for years,  if it is not completely resolved, released or the person forgiven, who is related to the anger.  Spiritual healing is the process of releasing blocked energy which is not serving us well in our lives.

Spiritual healing recognizes that our thoughts, feelings, actions, memories, experiences and bodies are all one interrelated flow of energy impacting each other in thousands of ways every day. This is the mind, body, spirit connection. Every thought and feeling we have resonates throughout our bodies.   If we experience trauma, sadness, abuse, fear, abandonment,  our body registers this emotional content in the body.  When we are stressed, out of balance, we are more vulnerable to contract infection, virus, parasites, etc.  When we are out of balance emotionally or mentally, this ALWAYS shows up in our bodies, sometimes immediately and sometimes years later but it ALWAYS shows up.

The way to stay healthy and in balance is to do our inner work. This  work most powerfully consists of  identifying and releaseing blocked emotional, mental and spiritual energy which is manifesting as pain, hurt, anger, broken relationships, poor communications, repeating confrontations, back pain, cancer, ADHD, depression, infections, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. and all other types of imbalances in our physical bodies.

Each and every one of us is here to learn to be in greater states of Peace and Joy. Some of us recognize this and others among us do not.   We can choose to ignore our inner work but eventually we have to do the work to find Peace and Contentment in our daily lives.   We can spend lifetimes on the externals of what others think of us, on material possessions and on public attributes of prestige and success.  The externals however have next to nothing to do with feeling successful, peaceful and balanced inside.   The goal of spiritual healing is Peace and Wholeness inside. Then our lives, our relationships, our jobs and our bodies come into greater and greater balance.

When we release deep sadness, un-forgiveness, resentment, hatred, judgement, shame, fear, etc. our minds and bodies come into greater balance.  When I open a sacred space, I call Divine Presence into this dimension to work with me to help others who are in need.  As I begin to work with another,  I don’t know in my “human mind” exactly what blocked energy may be manifesting as infection, inflammation, Parkinson’s, Alzheimers, Crohns or Grave’s Disease.   I do know that some set of blocked energy is manifesting as imbalance in the body.   I also know that Divine Knowing knows all. Through listening, with the intent to come into balance, we will learn to identify the imbalances and then they can be cast out of our energy fields allowing the body to heal.

Some people come to me for a “quick fix”. Those rarely manifest.  We have to steadfastly seek to connect with Divine Energy because the outer world is more visible, more tangible and seemingly more real to many of us.  Until we have real experience with Divine Presence, the thought of this Presence is a vague possibility.  We can experience Divine Presence though other people, nature, creations, etc. but we have to eventually go inside and have a dialog with Divine Presence and ourselves to find Divine Connection. God/Divine Presence/All That Is  is within.  Our  I AM Presence, the part of us which is wholly connected and balanced, is within.   If we seek with the attitude that we will get our body fixed and go right on with our behaviors and thoughts which have brought us to imbalance,  we won’t be able to sustain any form of balance, mentally or physically.

Our bodies and more importantly our souls won’t allow us to be out of balance without letting us know in very powerful ways. We get as many chances as we need to release resentment, rage, blame, self-punishment and un-forgiveness but there is no way to fool the body into balance.  We come into balance when we are done with giving our power and attention to negative energy which is manifesting as imbalance.

To Begin Inner Spiritual Healing Work:

1. Relax into Silence with the spoken intent to connect more deeply with Divine Presence.  I intend to connect with Divine Presence.  I open a Sacred Space for healing and wholeness. Wait there a while and be.

2. Identify a negative draining thought, feeling or emotion which is in your immediate energy field such as rage, for example.  Or name the diagnosed imbalance you want to clear blocked energy for,  such as breast cancer.

3. State aloud with conviction,  With the Energy of the Most High, I command out the blocked core source of the rage I am feeling, (of the breast cancer, I am manifesting) through all time and space, with the intent to come into greater Balance and Peace.   I affirm my desire to connect more deeply with Divine Presence in my life.

4. I offer my deepest thanks for this support and for the power of this healing within me.

It may seem easier to get medical drugs, therapies and pills to take care of a situation. However, the same imbalances that brought the last sinus infection, the last back ache, the last heart attack, the last cancer stay with us unless we release the thoughts and feelings that have caused the imbalances in the first place. We get all the chances we need to come into balance.  If you want to be done with chronic imbalance, go inside.  Work with Divine Presence with the intent of creating more Peace and Balance, Health and Wholeness.  All healing modalities can be supported and strengthened with inner spiritual work.  Release that which you know is out of balance and all else will follow.

Begin Today.  Sit today in Silence and cast out that which is manifesting as imbalance in your life. Repeat these processes frequently until the negative emotions have left your being or until the physical imbalance is re-balanced.  Healing comes a little at a time.  Keep calling out the imbalances, a little at the time.
