You can experience Divine presence though other people, nature, creations, art, music, etc. but to find Divine Connection, you eventually have to go inside and have a dialog between yourself and The Divine. The Divine Presence/God/The Oneness is within. Your I AM Presence, the part of you that is wholly connected and balanced with Spirit, is within. If you seek this connection with open expectations, that is the easiest way to find a connection with Divine Presence. If you seek with the attitude that you will get your body fixed and then all will return to as it has been, you won’t sustain any emotional, mental, or physical progress or balance at all. What if you feel that there is no Divine Presence within yourself? The truth is that your quiet inner voice is both yours and that of the Divine. You are the same fundamental energy. Some people call this voice intuition and others call it an inner sense of knowing. If you can’t see yourself verbally speaking with Divine Presence, get a notebook and write to God, Mother Mary, Krishna, King David, Jesus, Mohamed, Great Spirit, Divine Presence, or to whomever you feel connected. Have your dialogue in writing. Whatever you think about yourself as a human, there is also an eternal part of you that is Divine. You are always both human and Divine energy. You can choose to ignore the Divine Energy, but it is still there.
All humans are both human and Divine. This may be way beyond your ability to fully grasp, but it is true for all of us. A caveat is that you can attract a negative spirit attachment and in that case any negative, pejorative, hurtful, berating, or angry voice you hear is not yours or Divine Energy. There are plenty of negative spirits around as we all have Free Will to do as we please even if we are no longer in human bodies. In some cases, a negative spirit can attach to your own unhealed energy and exacerbate your already unhealed feelings and energies. (See The Six-Step Spiritual Healing Protocol, Chapter 10)
Why seek Divine Connection? Well, things are just easier this way. You can call in healing for yourself or others if you have a connection with Divine Source. You create this connection by showing up and listening or speaking with Divine Source energy. What have you got to lose? If you need help, try asking for it with your whole heart. Begin by opening Sacred Space with the Six-Step Protocol.
Here’s an example:
“I am here seeking connection with Divine Source. However, I don’t know how to do this. It is really my first true time to give this a try. I may not hear the guidance today but I really need help with my relationship with my mother (or name the person). I have some sorrow, regret, and anger here but I would really like healing for this relationship. I call in all the healing I need and that (other person’s name) needs for us to come to a place of healing and mutual respect. Thanks for listening, I will be on the look out for what is needed from me.”
Here’s another example:
“Okay, here goes. I need help. I have chronic pain and tiredness as well as some depression in my life. I have looked a lot but I do not know what is keeping me from healing. I would like all this draining energy to be transformed so it no longer shows up as pain, tiredness, and depression. I want to have a healthy balance so that I can contribute to other’s well being but I can’t do that as long as I am so out of balance. Thank you for anything that can be shifted for me. I am willing to receive healing for anything I am holding onto which is causing these issues for me.”
These steps will get you tuning in effectively to what you need. Always begin by opening Sacred Space to work within.
- State why you are connecting with Divine Presence.
- State the specific issues you are concerned about.
- State what you want.
- State what you are willing to do or to receive.
- Give thanks.
This will get you started. Keep at it. Do not give up. Keep asking, “How can this healing come to me? What do I need to learn, let go of, call in or clear for?” You will be guided and often not at all in the ways you may have envisioned.
